Bio:
I'm on a mission. I have a purpose on this Earth. To play the most kickass outlaw country tunes ever written.
Why am I doing this? Because I listen to the radio and very little of what I hear is good. Because living legends are a dying breed. I'm talking about Waylon Jennings. Johnny Cash. Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, and Kris Kristofferson. Because in listening to albums that aren't played on commercial radio, I've discovered an incredible body of work that deserves to be heard.
How am I going to accomplish my mission? The old-fashioned way. As a troubadour travelling the land, armed with CDs and guitar. Playing songs for people that they never heard before. Maybe even a few that I wrote myself!
To look at my life, it seems as though it's my destiny to be a country singer. I was born in California, to a Carolina family. My grandfather was a Marine, so we followed him out to the west coast in the early 80s. Though I grew up in the Golden State, the south runs strong in my blood! My father was and is a ramblin' man, and the apple didn't fall far from the tree with me. As of this writing I've visited 30 states. Many a mile logged on the highways of America, travelling in every kinda way except style. The greyhounds, the motorcycles, various junker cars, hitchhiking (mis)adventures, I even pedaled a bike across Kentucky once.
I've lived in everything from tents and shelters to on top of a cliff with a breathtaking view of the Pacific. I've loved, lost, known crushing defeats, drank a lot of beer, and lived some beautiful moments. I am, in short, a country singer! Cut from the same cloth as all those guitar pickers and hopeless artists that've preceded me.
